EIC Controls Technician (TC Energy)

TC Energy is hiring: EIC Controls Technician, Richardson, SK.

• Operates, inspects, troubleshoots, calibrates and maintains natural gas compression and auxiliary equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and control systems, on aero-derivative and electric (VFD) compressor units up to 40,000 HP plus custody transfer measurement stations
• Works on shutdown devices, fire and gas systems, PLCs, control valves, UPS and relief devices; coordinates contractors and supports outages and turnarounds across the Echo Valley Area
• Schedule is Monday to Thursday at 9 hours a day, then Friday at 8 hours in week one and Friday off in week two; on-call rotation, overtime and emergency support as required
• Home base is Regina or Moose Jaw, SK; the posting also lists Rapid City, Grenfell, Moosomin and Caron as sites
• Asks for a high school diploma and 4 or more years of related experience; a Red Seal or equivalent trade ticket in electrical, instrumentation or controls and a Qualified Electrical Worker certification are preferred; valid licence and driver’s abstract needed
