Kiewit is hiring: Crane Operator, Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
- Runs cranes on the Path2Zero project, a clean-hydrogen plant that the posting says is due to finish in 2028
- Needs hands-on time with Tadano rough-terrain cranes up to 100 tonnes and a valid journeyman crane operator ticket, plus a clean five-year driver’s abstract
- Base wage is $53.20 an hour under the CLAC collective agreement, with a $3.00 an hour night premium and a $2.50 an hour ITC premium; vacation pay is 6% and statutory holiday pay is 3.6%
- Shifts run Monday to Thursday at 10 hours and Friday at 8 hours; overtime and weekend work may be needed
- Offers are conditional on SureHire drug and alcohol testing and a 50 lb fitness-to-work test
- No travel or living-out allowance is paid; only applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be contacted
