Pipeline Maintenance Technician III (Enbridge)

Enbridge is hiring: Pipeline Maintenance Technician III, Hamilton, ON.

• Does pipeline, right-of-way and facility maintenance: valve and commodity tank work, tie-ins, piping changes, tapping and isolations, brushing and repairs
• Runs One-Call locates and damage prevention, supports third-party crossings and integrity jobs such as pigging, and takes part in land and water emergency response
• Operates loaders, compressors, pumps, pipe cutters, and hydraulic, pneumatic and torque tools
• Pay stated: $40.50 to $51.00 an hour CAD for Ontario; non-union
• Asks for about 5 years of pipeline maintenance, repair, utility locating or similar field experience, a valid licence and a passport (or the ability to get one); Class A, heavy equipment, welding and emergency response experience are assets
• Based in the Westover area and reports to the Westover Terminal in Hamilton (the posting’s header tag says Mississauga); rotating on-call, must live within 45 minutes of the reporting location, and the work can include nights, weekends and emergency callouts
