Black & McDonald is hiring: Maintenance Electrician (Wind Farms), Medicine Hat, AB.
- Installs, maintains and troubleshoots the electrical equipment inside wind turbines; the posting names Medicine Hat, Lethbridge and Drumheller as hiring locations
- Long-term roles on a 40-hour, Monday to Friday week, with extra days possible; a company service truck is provided
- Day-to-day includes high and low voltage switching, live troubleshooting and voltage checks, lockout/tagout, preventive maintenance and climbing turbines in all weather
- Asks for a Red Seal journeyman electrician ticket, CSTS, fall protection and working-at-heights tickets, a Class 5 licence and a willingness to join Local 424
