Heavy Duty Mechanic - Field (Finning)

Finning is hiring: Heavy Duty Mechanic - Field, Edmonton, AB.

• Permanent, full-time field mechanic role based in Edmonton, troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar equipment in the shop and at customer sites, some of them remote.
• Schedule is either 7x7 continuous shift or Monday to Friday.
• Needs an interprovincial journeyperson heavy equipment ticket and a clean five-year driver’s abstract; Cat field troubleshooting experience is required.
• Electrical, hydraulic and emissions skills count as assets, as does engine rebuild or power generation work.
• Unionized position; Finning pays for further Cat certification training and lists an employer-paid pension and medical plan.

Pay as posted: $54.04 - $60.04 per hour, plus a $2.25 field premium and a $3.50 continuous shift premium.
