Bird Construction is hiring: Welding Supervisor, Industrial East, Mississauga.
- Oversees welding to nuclear quality requirements, making sure only qualified welders work to approved procedures
- Keeps welder qualification logs, weld traceability and material records, and coordinates with inspectors
- Asks for a welder’s certification or equivalent trade ticket and 5 to 10 years supervising welding in industrial or nuclear settings
- Strong knowledge of CSA N285, N286 and N299 and ASME welding codes is required, and familiarity with TSSA and Authorized Inspection Agency requirements
- Full time; the posting gives no shift schedule
- The company gives no pay figure
