Superintendent, Renewables: Foundations and Earthworks (Bird Construction)

Bird Construction is hiring: Superintendent, Renewables (Foundations and Earthworks), Ottawa or Mississauga, ON.

• Leads daily field work on wind turbine foundations: clearing, mass excavation, grading, drainage, access roads, crane pads and laydown areas
• Oversees foundation digs, dewatering, forming, rebar, anchor cages, large concrete pours, curing and backfill to drawing tolerances
• Manages crews, subcontractors, heavy equipment and concrete deliveries across several work fronts, and keeps the schedule
• Asks for superintendent experience in renewables, heavy civil, structural concrete, industrial or infrastructure work, including large earthworks and foundation scopes
• Wind turbine foundation experience is a strong asset; travel to project sites is required
• Bird gives no pay figure or closing date in the posting
