Holder of Record, Work Protection (Bird Construction)

Bird Construction is hiring: Holder of Record (Work Protection), Pickering and Darlington nuclear sites, ON.

• Accepts work protection permits, checks isolations and keeps the crew inside safe work boundaries until the job is done and the permit is surrendered
• Walks down jobs with foremen and general foremen, works out what protection each one needs, and submits the paperwork to the issuing authority
• Asks for nuclear or industrial experience with work protection, lockout/tagout or safe work permit systems
• Nuclear site training and work protection qualifications are an asset; nuclear site access and security clearance are required
• Full time, reporting to the work protection coordinator; listed under Bird’s Mississauga office
• The company gives no pay figure
