Finning is hiring: Heavy Duty Mechanic (Field), Artemis Blackwater mine, northern BC.

• Troubleshoots and repairs mining equipment on site, including component diagnosis, in-pit repairs and field runner duties; four openings
• Asks for an interprovincial journeyperson heavy duty mechanic ticket, 3 years in mining, a Class 5 licence and a clean abstract
• Strong Caterpillar knowledge, including SIS 2.0 and DPSS, and internal engine repairs done independently
• $55.28 to $61.42 an hour (base plus regional allowance), $2.55 an hour remote premium, $3.25 an hour on nights, double-time overtime
• 14x14 continuous, rotating days and nights; travel allowance to the Prince George marshalling point
• Unionized: hiring and shift changes follow the collective agreement
