Septic system completion work at Allison Creek brood trout facility, Crowsnest Pass

Finish a new septic system at the Allison Creek fish hatchery: sewer connections, lift station, field repairs, fencing and site restoration.

The details:

  • Owner: Government of Alberta, Infrastructure
  • Reference: 022250C (Alberta Purchasing Connection AB-2026-06691)
  • Where: Allison Creek brood trout facility, Municipality of Crowsnest Pass, Alberta
  • Closes: October 27, 2026, 2:00 p.m. MT, via Alberta Purchasing Connection

What to know before you bid:

  • Scope: the remaining work and deficiencies on a septic system that a previous contract brought to substantial completion. That means sanitary sewer connections, removing the old septic infrastructure, lift station and monitoring well work, septic field repairs, testing and commissioning, tree clearing, fencing and gates, site restoration and a check of the sanitary inverts.
  • Estimated 6 months, starting about November 23, 2026 and running to late May 2027.
  • A site meeting is set for October 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. MT at the facility. The posting does not make it mandatory.
  • Bid security terms are in the tender document, a single PDF. No estimate is published, and the NWPTA is the trade agreement listed.
  • Bids are set up for electronic submission through Alberta Purchasing Connection, and no addenda were posted when checked.
