Drilling, blasting and crushing road base at Bombala quarries, NSW
Forestry Corporation of NSW wants a contractor to drill, blast, crush and size rock into forest-road base at quarries around Bombala.

What to know before you bid:
- The portal listing names four quarries (Extension 8, Nalbaugh, Stockyard Creek and McDonalds), but the tender PDF says only Extension Eight, McDonalds and Nalbaugh are in this contract. Ask which ones are in before you price.
- Scope: produce road-base and drainage rock for forest road pavements. The contractor brings all plant, labour, equipment and materials.
- Timing: the buyer wants mobilisation started before December 10, 2026 and the work finished by March 30, 2027. It targets awarding the tender on November 13.
- All work has to be done by licensed and ticketed people under the NSW mines, explosives and work health and safety rules the notice lists.
- To be eligible you must be a proper legal entity, show an effective safety management system and return the completed requirement forms. The buyer strongly encourages a site visit before you submit.
- No estimate, quantity or bid security is stated on the portal page. Lodge through buy NSW (you will need a supplier account); the notice says no addenda had been posted.
