What to know before you bid:
- Scope: traffic accommodation, demolition and disposal of the old bridge, driven piles, abutments, piers, precast concrete units, riprap, asphalt paving and roadway work on Highway 547, the access roads and Township Road 220A.
- Approximate quantities: 32 driven piles (HP310x94 steel H-pile, 315 m supplied), 175 cubic metres of Class 1 heavy riprap and 420 tonnes of Type M1 asphalt (PG 52-34). The contractor supplies all materials.
- Estimated start November 16, 2026, with the contract to be complete by June 15, 2027 (about 30 weeks).
- Each tender needs a digital bid bond for 10% of the tender amount. Hard-copy bids are not accepted.
- A Certificate of Recognition (COR) is listed as an additional requirement.
