Suncor Energy is hiring: Team Lead, Mine Maintenance, Fort Hills, north of Fort McMurray, AB.

• Supervises daily maintenance by employees and contractors on the mine’s mobile fleet, runs toolbox and safety meetings and reports job completion back to planning
• Asks for 5 years in mine maintenance, strong knowledge of haul trucks, shovels and auxiliary equipment, leadership experience and SAP skills
• Needs a valid Alberta or Interprovincial Red Seal journeyperson ticket and a high school diploma or GED
• The company gives no pay figure; it lists regional uplifts, annual bonuses, a pension and company-paid benefits
• Seven days on, seven off, seven nights on, seven off, 12-hour shifts; fly in and out from Calgary or Edmonton or bus from Fort McMurray, staying in camp about 90 km north of town
• Safety-sensitive, with heavy lifting, ladders, scaffolds and confined spaces
