Cenovus Energy is hiring: Production/Utility Technician, West White Rose Platform, offshore Newfoundland and Labrador.
- Monitors and runs the platform’s process and utility systems, does rounds and inspections during commissioning, and acts as area authority for the permit-to-work system, including isolations
- Asks for 5 years in upstream oil and gas (offshore preferred), a 4th Class Power Engineer certificate or other industrial or marine certification, and proven process operator experience
- Includes training towards the control room operator role
- The company gives no pay figure
- Full time and permanent; 12-hour days, three weeks on and three weeks off, with travel by helicopter and boat
- Safety-sensitive: drug and alcohol screening, a CAPP offshore medical and BST/HUEBA survival training; applications close November 5
