• Works on a crew covering a post in an operating unit of the primary upgrader: running equipment, watching for deviations and adjusting process variables
• Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on process equipment
• Asks for two years of refinery experience, a 4th Class Power Engineering certificate (3rd or 2nd preferred) and a valid driver’s licence with a clean record
• The posting gives no pay figure; it mentions bonuses, a pension and company-paid benefits
• 12-hour shifts: three days, three nights, six off
• Heavy lifting, ladders, scaffolds, towers and confined spaces; you must live within 60 km of Fort McMurray
