Instrumentation Technician, Fort McMurray (Suncor Energy)

Suncor Energy is hiring: Instrumentation Technician, Fort McMurray.

• Planned and response maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of instruments and controls across upgrading, extraction and utilities units
• Helps build energy isolation packages and keeps maintenance records
• Asks for an Alberta Journeyperson or Red Seal Instrumentation ticket, attached to the application, plus two years as a journeyperson in a large industrial facility
• Six on, six off: three days, three nights, then six days off, on 12-hour shifts
• Safety sensitive, with heavy lifting, ladders, scaffolds and confined spaces; a valid driver’s licence and clean driving record are required
• Living within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory, with relocation support; the company gives no pay figure
