TC Energy is hiring: Manual Machinist, Airdrie, Alberta.
- Runs lathes, mills, boring mills, grinders and drills to repair and remake compressor casings, shafts, bearings, seal carriers and turbine and engine parts
- Helps strip, inspect and rebuild compressors, gas turbine packages and reciprocating engines, and mentors apprentices
- Asks for a Red Seal machinist ticket and five years of manual machining to ±0.001” or better; a second Red Seal as millwright or heavy duty technician is a strong asset
- The posting gives no pay figure
- Shop work with overhead cranes and rigging; after-hours and weekend work as required, and travel for outages and temporary assignments
- Safety sensitive: pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol testing, a driver’s abstract and background screening
