Journeyperson Field Technician, Power Generation (Finning)

Finning is hiring: Journeyperson Field Technician (HET), Power Generation, Surrey, BC.

• Diagnoses, repairs and overhauls large industrial, marine and power generation engines, in the field and in the shop
• Writes service, warranty and crossover reports and works with the service supervisor and lead hand
• Asks for an interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician ticket, engine or component rebuild experience and a clean recent driver’s abstract
• Gas engine and power generation work, and Finning or Caterpillar courses, count as assets
• $50.25 to $55.84 an hour plus a $3.55 field premium; Monday to Friday
• Union membership is required and the job is governed by the collective agreement; boot and tool allowance and a pension are listed
