Temporary Equipment Operator, Tailings (Hudbay Minerals)

Hudbay Minerals is hiring: Temporary Equipment Operator, Tailings, Princeton, BC.

• Operates dozer, excavator, grader and articulated rock truck to set up pumping and piping and keep access roads open across the mine’s water systems
• Helps with HDPE pipe fusing and bolting, and with relines and maintenance on mill shutdown days
• Asks for at least 2 years on dozer, excavator, grader and rock truck, safe rigging (or the ability to get it) and a BC Class 5 or 7N licence with your own transportation
• Tailings and mine water experience is preferred
• A 6-month contract on a 7x7 rotation of 12-hour day and night shifts; not fly-in, fly-out
• Hudbay gives no pay figure in the posting
