Hudbay Minerals is hiring: Heavy Duty Mechanic, Princeton, BC.
- Diagnoses and repairs the mobile mining fleet at the Copper Mountain Mine, in the shop and in the field
- Asks for an interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician ticket and a valid Class 5/7N driver’s licence
- Experience on Komatsu 830E haul trucks, D375 dozers, Cat 16M graders, PC8000/PC2000 shovels and Pit Viper drills is an asset, as is a welding ticket
- $56.87 an hour
- 7x7 on 12-hour shifts, days and nights; not a fly-in, fly-out job
- Pre-employment screening, including drug and alcohol testing, applies
